Well since there were no ways for Vista Games Explorer to get emulated to xp, I decided to make my own Game Explorer

If you want to run Vista Game Explorer On Xp you will first need

To download all the vista games from:  http://rakshits.wordpress.com/2007/06/23/windows-vista-games-for-xp-update/ or Here 

Then download The Game Explore from: http://www.MegaShare.com/212056 

It is still a beta because not all the buttons are interactive but as all my Beta testers say its looks exactly like the real thing ……. ……………Remember to install the font  Segoe Ui (to install the font just put the font in C:\WINDOWS\Fonts)

NOTE: To run minesweeper from the Game Explorer make a folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Minesweeper Game in this folder place Minesweeper.bat make a shot cut of it and name it Minesweeper Game.bat

The Files are Seperated in to 3 Parts, each part isnt not linked so you can download part 1 and you wont need the others to extract the first part.

:: INSTRUCTIONS ::
Just click on the games to play, they will automatically create “Microsoft Games” in your PROGRAM FILES, and will add a shortcut to your start menu under Vista_Games so when you want to play them again you don’t have to keep running them where you saved them. Make sure you have Vista.Emulation.DLL in the c:\windows\system32 folder other wise these will not work

To make Minesweeper work:
Extract minesweeper.bat in the directory containing minesweeper.exe
create a shortcut to desktop or something like that
right click on the shortcut
choose properties
Run: select minimize
and enjoy
just run the .bat file to play the game.

Windows Live Messenger 8.5 available

Along with Windows Live Mail and Writer, Windows Live Messenger 8.5 has also entered beta today. Featuring the new Windows Live UI that we showed a few days ago complete with Aero support, Messenger 8.5 beta also includes improved compatibility for Windows Vista. Its also worth noting that a lot of work has been done on the back end systems, potentially providing support for future features. As was discovered from the leaked build a few days back, there is some hidden Windows Live Folders promotion within Messenger 8.5. Let us know if you find anything else

Another change is that Messenger 8.5 features Windows Live OneCare Family Safety integration. This allows parents to control their children’s access to Windows Live Messenger, both signing in and adding new contacts. Parents wanting to give this a try can access this functionality by logging into OneCare Family Safety, clicking the “Edit Settings” button and scrolling to the bottom of the page for the Allowed applications (Beta) section.
